I’m running for County Commissioner because I believe in the future of our county — and in what we can accomplish when we work together.

We all want the same things: safe communities, good jobs close to home, and a way of life we’re proud to pass on to our kids. I believe we can protect what makes our county special while also planning responsibly for what lies ahead.

We face real challenges, but we also have real opportunities.

Wildfires and flooding are part of where we live. With smart planning and coordinated action, we can protect our watersheds, reduce risk, and be ready before emergencies happen — not scrambling after the fact.

At the same time, families are feeling the pressure of rising costs, high taxes, and limited job opportunities. Our goal should be simple: help people live, work, and raise families right here at home. That means supporting local businesses, strengthening vocational training, and creating good-paying jobs so the next generation doesn’t have to leave to find opportunity.

Strong communities depend on strong infrastructure. Roads, bridges, and culverts are essential to public safety and economic stability. Taking care of these needs now saves money, protects lives, and prevents bigger problems down the road.

Moving forward means working together.

Cities, the county, and the state must communicate and collaborate. When we break down silos and focus on solutions, our communities are stronger and better prepared. Every area of the county is different, and thoughtful, local planning is the key to reducing risk and protecting homes and livelihoods.

We may not be able to prevent every disaster, but we can lessen the impact through preparation, responsible water management, and common-sense infrastructure solutions.

And throughout it all, taxpayers deserve transparency and accountability. People should feel confident that their hard-earned dollars are being spent wisely, responsibly, and on real needs.

That’s why I’m running — to help build a safer, stronger, and more prepared county, together.
